We are in the process of migrating our software from a HP3000/70 to a
HP3000/967 (yes, I know it's about time).

In the process of this migration, we are getting the following error when
running several compiled BASIC/V programs that have SYSTEM functions in the
code.

**** COMPATABILITY STACK OVERFLOW
ABORT: NENGDSPC.DETAIL.ENG
Special CM stack marker cap. CM was interrupted
Cap has been removed. ISM used to get CM state.
NM TRANS 44.01175474
   CM SYS % 161.12156 ?FPARSE' CISEG1
Program terminated in an error state. (CIERR 976)

Anybody seen this error? Any suggestions or work-arounds? This code works
fine on the HP3000/70. Any help would be appreciated! We might even
consider thowing in a "slightly used" but highly reliable HP3000/70 system
for your help! :)
