How are you trying to read from the catalog?

I have C code I port between several platforms -- built in the POSIX
environment on MPE. In the section that actually reads from my message
catalog, I have an MPE section (#ifdef) that uses the standard MPE message
cat intrinsics. Then I build the cat using GENCAT in the standard way.
