The configuration of NMMGR looks fine, but check the modem for "Forced DTR".
If the modem assumes DTR is Forced On, it will ignore DTR from the 3000. On
many modems you want &D2 as opposed to &D0. Check that the 6 to 20 (3000 to
modem) connection is OK. Full US cable specification is:
        2-3, 3-2, 4-8, 8-4, 6-20, 20-6, 7-7.
In countries that must monitor CTS, add (22 to 5) (3000 to modem) and change
modem type to 2, behavior to 2.

If you don't have any termtype files, I'm not sure how your system is running.
On my system, there is TT26.PUB.SYS which uses VFCPCL.PUB.SYS as its VFC file.
To make a custom printer termtype file, copy these files to TTxx and VFCPCLxx.
Use TTUTIL to change TTxx to point to VFCPCLxx and make any other changes
desired. Note that it is impossible to use TTUTIL to make a printer termtype
file from scratch, you must copy an existing one.
