Harpreet,
A suggestion - instead of streaming this job RESTLIST.JOBS which runs
the program BACKUPPL.PUB.ORBIT, you might try entering the restore
commands directly at your console, signed on as Manager.sys. That
way, you've eliminated any additional security issues and will see
the error messages (if any) right away. Of course, if your tape is
in a special Orbit format, that would not work, but it should if it's
just a standard MPE backup.
