Gosh! Been awhile since I checked out HP3000-L, glad
to see all the all old stalwarts still going strong.

Anyway, to the meat and drink.....
Let me first say that I aggree whole heartedly with
the posters saying that the 3000 (sorry, I think this
e3000 business is a flash in the pan),should be sold
as a platform that runs your business, not as as whiz
bang techie box. When push comes to shove the users
couldn't give a stuff what produces the results as
long as something does!

Having said that, I have found merit in pushing the
3000 back into the front of managers minds by pointing
at failed SAP projects, NT crashes, and the amazing
amount of money spent on "pretty, sexy" platforms.

I am working at a sight (no names, dont want to get
fired :) ), that has been trying to put together an NT
solution to supercede the 3000's for (wait for it) 5
years! And it still dont work.

The 3000 is a *great* system, anyone who talks legacy
is out of their box.
Legacy = Old, slow, boring
HP3000 = Uptime, stability, speed

Best regards to all
