Hi Joseph

You don't say which version of MPE/iX you came from, but I'd guess it
was a very early 6.5, or earlier than 6.5....

Quoting:

====================================================
How do you know that your ATCINFO file needs migration?
      (1) : imagesql
          >> dbe mydbe
          >> base yourdb
          >> display turbodb
          Incompatible ATCINFO file version number, migration is needed
          (ATCERR 2101).
      (2) isql=> connect to 'mydbe';
           ATCINFO file contains incompatible version number, migration
is
           needed.  (DBERR 13516)

How do you migrate your ATCINFO file?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------
  Before migrating your ATCINFO file of your DBE, make sure you backup
your existing ATCINFO file and the matching DBE.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------

: run imagesql.pub.sys
 > dbe yourdbe
 > migrate

Announcing a Post 6.5 Release Patch

When I had this error, I did what it said: I started up the IMAGESQL
utility, and did the one-time conversion of my older ATCINFO (my
xxxDBE).

(Actually, I didn't ever have the error, as I'd been apprised of what
went into an MPE upgrade of this nature, and so did the Migrates as an
integral part of that, before handing it back to my users. But same
difference.... )

ATC is: (from the Image/SQL Administration Guide)
<http://docs.hp.com/mpeix/onlinedocs/36385-90012/00/00/7-con.html>

ATC--the terms Turbo CONNECT and ALLBASE/Turbo CONNECT (ATC) were used
for earlier versions of IMAGE/SQL. The acronym, ATC, still appears in
error messages for IMAGE/SQL (for example, ATCERR or ATCWARN).

This manual starts at:

<http://docs.hp.com/mpeix/onlinedocs/36385-90012/36385-90012.html>

You might also want to read the 'Getting Started with Image/SQL' manual

(PS: can I permit myself a mild smile at your posting address? Is this
posting perhaps off-shoring (from your Indian Ocean perspective) the
off-shoring (from HP's Pacific Ocean perspective) of the off-shoring
(from my Atlantic Ocean perspective)? In which case, I'm off to the
Med.... :-)
