Hello Ray, actually Thanksgiving is NOT a uniquely American holiday. It's celebrated in the Deranged Dominion as well, except that it's celebrated on the second Monday of October in that country. In French, it's "la fête de l'action de grace".

It's my favorite holiday also and this year, it will be at the house and daughters are coming in from colleges and stuff.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else as well. (Sorry for the delay for our Canadian members.)

Denys

Subject: [HP3000-L] Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s been years since anyone posted the ‘digital turkey’. 8-)

While Thanksgiving is a uniquely American Holiday, the spirit of it is not. It’s my favorite holiday because all it involves is going to visit family/friends, enjoy each other’s company, watch parades and football, and dine on wonderful, home prepared foods. In that spirit of enjoying family, friends and foods, I’d like to wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving, and hope that you, too, get to share time with your family and friends – wherever you may be, and wherever they may be.
