I am going out on a limb, assuming that Wirt meant "I personally don't
think that the flyer should be issued".  If so, then we have an interesting
conundrum:

        Carly, Ann & Co. protest about mentioning the HP e3000
         "only when appropriate".

         The question is now, "Are these *appropriate* mentions of
         the HP e3000"?
