ERP = repackaged, regurgitated MRP II but better,
Formally known as "Enterprise Resource Planning"  last time i checked
mostly a buzzword, but wrap some new functionality around MRP II like DSS,
 supply chain management, EDI, Logistics, Email triggers and a whole lot of
 forecasting mathmatics and you have "GROWTHPOWER, The next generation" ERP.
