Hi Eddie,
Did the passwords change? You can find the password in the program
"STRINGS" or Fcopy ;char, and compare to DBUTIL SHOW PASSWORDS.

I admit I like the thinking. To many times I've found it to be something hiding in plain sight like that. Unfortunately not this time. Part of the process to stop updates included the batch jobs and some commands that are all managed through Design3000's JMS. I'm hoping to find we stopped some command from running that may be related to the access issues.
Still open to any other fun avenues of thought.
