Another method is for your MPE/iX job to FTP a trigger event to the
HP-UX box which is waiting with cron to launch your UX script. The
trigger event can live in pretty much any dir and the cron/crontab
process becomes completely internal to UX. Be careful to clean up the
triggers and maybe even archive them for tracking.
