LISTF LOG####,2   << Note the name of the open log file, has '*' >>
STORE LOG####-LOG9999;*NULL;PURGE   << Where LOG9999 is the open file >>

If you upgrade to MPE/iX 5.5, you can just use:
PURGE LOG####

Also do the same for NMLG####
