I ran into a similar problem recently. I don't recall all the details,
(might have been with an interactive telnet session) but maybe the fix
will work for you. I added eight spaces at the end of the commands
that were being truncated and that fixed the problem - I settled on
eight by trial-and-error. Good luck!
