I've explained this in the past, maybe it's time for a refresher:

Actually your mail was bouncing for several days and I set you in digest
mode so that *I* don't get a bounce message for each message of the day
for you; the same is applied to other subscribers of the mailing list.
If your mail was working, you would have received notification of what
happened (a notice goes out when you are placed in digest mode).  If the
digest also bounce a couple of days, you may be removed from the list.

You can "undo" digest by mailing to <[log in to unmask]> with the
text "set hp3000-L nodigest".  If you get deleted completely, just send
your signon information again "subscribe hp3000-L Brian Davidson".

In this case, I have already reset your digest mode, so things should be
back to normal.

The goal here is to keep everyone on the list and well informed.  By
setting digest mode it not only reduces my housekeeping overhead but
also insures you'll get the whole day's messages should your mail start
working again.  Sorry for any confusion.
