After sorting through my old tape library, I found two oddball tapes.  One says

Factory Preload Tape
HP3000XL SYSGEN/STORE format
vuf:  B.40.00  Date code 3217

The other says:

HP-PA SUPPORt
For the HP9000 S800
SUPPORT FMT
P/N B3100-13435  REV A.B9.04

The first tape I'm thinking FOS for MPE/XL 4.0 before HP settled on their MPE/iX naming convention.

Since I was never in a HP9000 shop, would the second tape be like an old DUS tape, usable on both platforms?
