Sorry, I do not realy understand what you mean. You should be able to
connect your DTC anywhere in the "same" network, even on another floor.

You probably can. But you need a third party spooling product (like
ESPUL, NBSPOOL ....) if you stay on MPE/iX 5.0. On 5.5 this functionality
is bundled into the FOS.
