that's my favorite scotch of all, it's not even that expensive, I get
it at Trader Joes for about $30 usually. You can smell Laphroaig
from 30 feet away. Another one with a lot of peat, but not as much
and is probably smoother is Talisker

it absolutely is perfect like that, my favorite combination, but you
really only want a few drops of water.

You are absolutely right about that. There is a really unique one
called Loch Du that is aged in burnt casks so it is black and has an
almost sweet taste to it. It's worth trying out. Glen Morange is
one that is like an upscale Glenlivet, but you're going to pay about
the same as for Laphroaig, so unless you're just wanting a new
flavor, stick with Laphroaig. You reminded me that I'm out, time to
get a new bottle.
