The question posed was:

Does anybody have experience in using Visual Basic to access an
Imagesql Database using an ODBC Driver ????

We did it using OmniAccess, an API from DISC.  This seems very solid.
In fact we talked to other installtions before we did it.  The rub however
is that you need to modify your application code.  There is no ODBC
involved.  We paid DISC some consulting $$ to get this done.
