I recall SETCOUNTER.
Fox 9:setcounter
You must specify one of INSP, OUTSP, JOBNUM, or SESSNUM unless
using the 'SHOW' option alone to display current values. (CIERR 4816)
Fox 9 setcounter;show
Absolute
Counter BASE Next MAX maximum
-------------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------
Input spoolid: 1 37 9999 9999999
Output spoolid: 1 921 9999 9999999
Job number: 1 35 9999 16383
Session number: 1 132 9999 16383
But I don't know about controlling LDEVs.
