We use a mail sender only from Telamon. it sends files. If the file is
just text then the messages comes to the user. If the file has been
uuencoded then it comes as an attachment. Cost is free. The 1 or 2
questions suggestions we have had have been answered by Telamon quickly.

Subject: email on the 3000
Greetings,
I am beginning to look at email software that will run on the 3000s.
Basically, I am not looking for the ability to read/receive email on the
3000, but just wish to be able to send email to users. We have situations
where users want to be informed of information in our batch jobs, but don't
wish to wait for paper reports.
I'm looking for supported products. We are currently on 6.0 PP1.
TIA
