O.K., O.K.: On behalf of the IPROF Task Force (I am a member)
I confess: We met last Friday and Saturday at the Interex office,
and spent quite a few hours both days working out the "new" IPROF
format and schedule. All note that the schedule is now *almost*
completely single-tracked, to minimize conflicts.
Anyway, after a stretch of serious discussion one of the Task
Force members (I can't take credit) started doing some trial runs
of expanded descriptions for the panels and sessions; kind of
started with "A panel of Posix programmers"; we all sort of
spontaneously picked up on the P-P-P thing; went downhill from
there; someone more-or-less said "we can't put that on the official
schedule, can we ??"; then "why not ??"; then we all gave in to
temptation and signed on. Hopefully we can be excused for this
one small diversion (we had one or two more, but figured that would
be going over the line)....
Mea culpa........ And y'all come: Thurs-Sat 19-21 March 1988....
