Last Friday members of the SIGIMAGE Executive Committee (SIEC) met
with HP CSY Management along with members of the HP Database Lab.
The purpose of the meeting was to review HP's plans for the upcoming
year along with using the opportunity to discuss several current
issues.
 
One of the technical issues we did discuss was how should DBINFO:
mode 202 respond when DDX is enabled. Like previous notes on this
thread, there were many passionate arguments presented for each side
of this issue. Unfortunately we did not have enough time during our
meeting to arrive at a recommendation for HP.
 
In the upcoming weeks we'll be continuing to review the aspects of
this situation that have been raised both in our meeting as well as
from this thread.  It is my goal that we are able to arrive at a
recommendation to present at IPROF along with possibly HP providing
feedback as to when the solution might be available.
