Starvision was a repackaged version of the LeeTech AIM (Application
Intelligent Middleware) product that is still available on multiple
platforms (MPE/iX, NT, and a few Un*x's). It's a good product although
not heavily marketed by LeeTech. We even wrote a Cold Fusion interface
for it :) If you want any further information about AIM in particular,
give me a call. A couple other MOM type products would be IBM's MQSeries
and Microsoft Message Queue. I believe the former was ported to MPE
by Willow, and the later by Geneva (I believe the Geneva product is
called 'Level 8'?!?!?). If you just need some basic middleware, you
can also look at Middleman from Minisoft. I'm sure there are a few
others out there too.
