Donna,

Have a look for [log in to unmask], you should find that there's a time limited
evaluation copy of Glance on your system.

However 5 to 6 minutes for a database update is a _very_ long time. Are
you _sure_ there isn't a problem with your database? Another possibility
is that something, maybe the ODBC background jobs, is doing something
like a serial read with the dataset locked thus locking out other users
for some time.
