Oh great. I have 12 sockets open on my Win95 PC right now and I don't even
have Netscape (configured for 8 concurrent connections) loaded. Little opus
(a Win3.1 386) has 8 sockets open. Is MickeySoft going to kill me?
Jeff,
This has nothing to do with Win95 or Windoze 3.x [no, this is not a MAC crack - it's
that after using Win95 for so long (back when it was called 'Chicago') - I can't bear
to deal with Win 3.x]. This only has to do with Win NT Workstation.
There have been no restrictions that I've seen from MS on the number of TCP
connections to a Win95 PC, and as for Win 3.x - I think you can be pretty safe
there, as it's been relegated to the equivilent of 'Roseville' <g>
