Actually, I think the "Ford and HP3000" analogy is erroneous.

In the years I have worked on the HP3000 I would liken it more to a Toyota
rather than Ford.

Let's not forget that "Ford" is an acronym for (F)ixed (O)r (R)epaired
(D)aily...
