Jeff, I have a packaged application running on a PC that uses a card swiper.
The keyboard plugs into the swiper and that plugs into the keyboard port on
the PC.  The details get a little fuzzy here except the output from the card
swiper is the PC keyboard scan codes.  So building the strip reader into the
keyobard itself is probably not a big deal.
