drive, the SAMBA call in JINETD gives us an error....

Received call for: smbp tcp

And now permit me to change the regular Friday humor chatter towards a different
subject.

I have just accepted a job offer from the CSY Internet & Interoperability team.
My anticipated start date is August 2nd.

(waits for applause to subside) ;-)

CCCD has been a TOTALLY GREAT place to work for these past 23 years, but now
it's time to move on. The empty MPE/HPUX system administration and technical
support slot that I leave behind will be filled via an internal department
reorganization, and as far as I know at this time, there are no plans to hire
new MPE/HPUX talent from the outside.

Most of my remaining time here at CCCD will be totally consumed by attempting
to transfer the vital bits of my 17 years of MPE knowledge to the bombshell
survivors I'll leave behind. Unfortunately because too many knee MRIs over
the years seem to have dulled my Vulcan mind-meld capabilities, I have to
resort to time-consuming primitive verbal training methods. ;-)

Please bear with me if I lag in responding to any e-mail.

All of my MPE freeware web pages and download archives will eventually migrate
to a new server that is still to be determined. The CCCD originals will remain
online in their current locations until the new home is ready, even if that
occurs after August 2nd.
