Hear Hear! If the described problem (in the press releases) is to get a handle
on HP's computer, web and software businesses, how does spliting off
instrumentation biz and leaving the (much larger) portion that contains all of
the problem businesses as a unit, help??

I think the best news is the statement that Lew would be turning over the
controls to someone else.
