Traditionally, commands are found in PUB.SYS like most of the MPE
commands. But as Tracy mentioned, you can put them anywhere and do a
PATH for the location. Remember, when doing this either release the
command for everyone to use or have the location of command be
accessible to those who will use it.

In other words everyone is saying there is no traditional
place to put them.

Some put them in a COMMAND group, some in a CMD group, some put them
in the same place as their UDCs, some even put them in their PUB groups
so the default path will work.

In any case, you will usually end up modifying your log in UDC to
change the default path.

Here is a line from my logon udc for my garage machine:

  SETVAR HPPATH "!!HPGROUP,PUB,PUB.SYS,COMMAND.SYS,COMMAND.!!HPACCOUNT"

Note the DOUBLE exclamation points.  That means it will follow you if
you do a chdir, chgroup in MPEX.  Or chlogon in MPEX if you have it.
