Busy man, Al!

Presumably you also learned the hard way that you need a special program
(albeit supplied by HP) to restore Netware files (RESTORE won't do it),
and that if you don't get it just right, all your timestamps go
wrong.....

We are like you were - an overnight shutdown is only a minor pain. But
are you saying that you can backup a 'real' Novell Netware on the fly,
even with processing going on?

Or is it really like the HP RESTORE for MPE files, where it looks as if
you can do that, but open files are missed and running processes can be
inhibited if you try? This can be even more insidious than the Netware
situation!
