 Good afternoon,

After some serious lurking, I have a question:

 I've recently installed java and perl5 on a 980
running MPE 5.0. The permissions appear to be
okay as is, but the file/directory ownership.
Does anybody have any good guidelines for file
and directory ownership under POSIX? If the
best solution is to create new users/accounts,
 that isn't a problem, but I can't just do
chmod 777 on all the files.

 Thanks,
 Scott
