Wow, so many bills sponsored by John Kerry. I had to check the
thomas.loc.gov web site. Why is John not promoting his hundreds of bills?
Results: This year, 108th Congress.
ONE bill sponsored and passed: S.300 "A bill to award a congressional
gold medal to Jackie Robinson (posthumously)"
Several bills still in Committee. (Sorry, I do not consider Sponsored
Amends to other bills as a serious congressional agenda.)
Assuming the Republicans are trying to insure John Kerry has no bills
passed this year to 'run on', I checked last year, 107th Congress.
Results 107th Congress: :-) Four sponsored bills passed. Well worth his
salary. But wait, John was running for President already last year. So
maybe those nasty Republicans were keeping John's brilliant ideas from
becoming law.
Results 106th Congress: ONE bill sponsored and passed.
Suggestion, maybe John Kerry should be running on his consistent
congressional record.
