WHOOPS!
SHOWPROC says "no matching process"? Have you considered the possibility of a "ghost job"? This usually happens when
the session is over a LAN, but I've occasionally seen it in jobs. Particularly when they are running 3rd party products WSRN
that have low level hooks into the operating system. You didn't mention the 3rd party product you were using.
The routine is:
ABORTJOB
Multiple ABORTIO's to the output devices
Then finally FILE ZAP;DEV=offending_device and FCOPY FROM=any_file;TO=*ZAP
This last works where many other things won't, goes back to early days of MPE.
TERMDSM and OPENVIEW are also useful where appropriate
