AFAIK No, but if your DDS is an external model, you could get
yourself a SCSI card for a PC and use the LTT (Library
and Tape Tools) which you can download from www.hp.com .
Available for Windows (I checked for XP) and Linux RedHat,
a.o.

I have not checked it in detail, but I think the LTT has
at least the same diagnostic features as cstm, including
firmware mgmt.
