        Subject: Lost File

The other day a user created an XEQ file using a report writer
(DataNow) and named it using an invalid character for MPE/iX. The name was
NDXR'S as you can see they used an apostrophe in the name. The program
allowed the file to be created and it will access this file and run the XEQ
program. The problem is I can not access it from the operating system. I
can not use LISTF, PURGE or any other commands to get to the file. Has
anyone ever encountered a problem like this. At this point my choice is to
leave the file in the group it is in and be done with it. I don't think
this will hurt anything since this is a group used just by several user to
store their XEQ files.

If anyone has any suggestions I would like to here them.

        Thanks - Jim Kilgo
