Hello Friends:

Have a look at today's 3000 NewsWire blog
<http://3000newswire.com/blog> for a report on yesterday's Mark Hurd
CEO speech and the winner of this year's e3000 Contributor Award. HP
didn't change its strategies for ending the 3000 business at the
company, but it has made a few tweaks to the timeline for some
supplementary services.

Our congratulations go to Donna Garverick, who's been a redoubtable
resource from SIG leadership on through her OpenMPE board service. Like
nearly all of the 3000 community, however, she wasn't in attendance at
the Tech Forum.
