Hi Vincente,
Yes, what you are contemplating does work. We have a LPQ1200 line
printer connected on the network using an external Jetdirect card.
You may have to go for external Jetdirect card, in case internal
Jetdirect card is not available for your printer(s). Plus you will need
the JetAdmin software which you will have to install on a UNIX box to
make the jetdirect card work.
