I have an issue with performance.  I need to bench mark and test the
performance of the TURBO IMAGE data base, perform the same test with the
ALLBASE front end attached to said turbo data base and finally I need to
test the performance going thru a SQL 'listner' which is a background
job waiting to fullfill data retrieval request.

We need to structure tests that will __concretely__ identify bottlenecks
at the
level of the database, as well as the jdbc-odbc listener and socket
listener
level. I read your report that states that the Allbase - TurboIMAGE
connection
presented a significant bottleneck, but we need to quantify this, so we
can
compare the numbers against our specific performance testing criteria.
These
numbers, along the the response time of other areas of the system, will
give us
the information we need to plan out our implementation for Phase 0.
