There is an ABORTJ script and ABORTJOB UDC available on Jazz. 
First, they support a much richer job/session selection criteria, but
they also do few tricks to reduce the chances of getting ghost sessions.

Also, using NSCONTROL killsess=#Snnnn  may help.
