I disagree.  CBS cannot be made to reveal its journalistic sources, but
when these "sources" turn out to have fabricated (forget forged, these
docs were so bad it's an insult to forgers,) documents, they are no
longer sources.  Indeed they are criminals.  If I were CBS I would be in
a great hurry to out these sources and turn the light on them.  Then
again, I do not have their agenda.  Since CBS does not want to reveal
their falsifying sources, perhaps there is something to hide.

I have to say that CBS does not have any obligation to reveal sources.
At least no legal obligation.  I do hasten to add that it would be the
right thing to do, but should not be a requirement.
