I'm an old IMAGE hand, new to SQL stored procedures. I saw a posting
here that suggested that there were problems with ODBC and stored
procedures.
This is interesting, because I have been having some problems with this
myself. I'd appreciate anybody with experience in this area who might
have some suggestions (other than don't do it!):
I have a procedure that seems to work fine with ISQL. In the first
instance, I do a COMMIT WORK & BEGIN WORK inside to free up locks.
With ODBC (32 bit, using Powerbuilder 6.5, but I don't think that's
relevant) I get an error message about "INVALID PROCEDURE".
In the 2nd instance, when I remove the transaction break, it actually
works correctly, but returns an error ("INTERNAL ERROR").
