You can easily do that with inetdcnf.net.sys. You simply add or delete the
# on the tftp line and do as you state: inetd.net.sys -c and voila, it's
done.

What if you want to temporarily enable tftp? With inetdsec, one can edit it,
then inetd.net.sys -c to force it to reread its configuration. Would
reenabling it in SERVICES allow its temporary use?
