...a program to translate a standard IMAGE Schema (which we all know and
love) into that obscure set of cryptic incantations needed to build a
functionally similar database using nothing more than SQL "create table"
commands?

Or is this going to be a case of "my personal itch to scratch", and thus yet
another "open source" program will be born?  [and/or, "who would like to
help with such a project?"]

I'd much rather sit down and think about the structure and contents of a
database rather than (essentially) run DBSCHEMA with :FILE DBSTEXT=$STDIN
and have to worry about how I spelled item names from one table-instance to
the next... ;}
