Everyone,

Bill M. reported to me offline that path 0/0/2/0 is NOT an add in card.

I do think he is correct.  Heck, I configured two A-classes this weekend, you would think I would remember THAT.  

The add on paths I remember are 0/2/0/0, 0/4/0/0, 0/6/0/0 and 0/6/2/0, I do know the paths are clearly marked on the back of the A-class.  (I looked there several times myself.)

So 0/0/2/0 is one of the internal paths.  Can someone please look at the back of an A-class for us?

I did look at a default configuration  CONFALC3.SYS

surprise, surprise... (see below)

One side has the fake 'streams' device LDEV 10, the phoney LP 6, and a real DDS3 tape drive.

The other side has a real scsi disc drive.

This is one of the default configurations from HP.  yet the A5150A is not 'supported'.
