Even if the upgrade were free, which it is not, it would probably not be
worth doing.  The 822, which is what you would end up with, is an
HPIB (not SCSI) based system, the memory is an unusual, proprietary
design, the computer is slow, etc.  It is possible to add SCSI devices,
however,
it requires a $1,000 card and you will probably have to mount those
externally.
