Having recieved my Platform 3P and 40 tapes from
the good guys at HP...

I pulled out the functioning piece of my Micro/XE
in my garage and fired them up. The Eagles fired up
green, the Micro/XE blinked for awhile and gave me
a "B" and the HP7974 did a self test too, and gave
me an F50 error.

(I assume the lights correspond to the fact that
they are not connected to each other in any way.
I'm also sure among my dozen or so HP terminals
one is still working.)

Next step is to connect the pieces and see if I can
Install and Cold Load from the tapes.

I don't happen to have a HP7974 manual. Anyone know
of the proper method of verifying and setting it's
HP-IB address?

(Not only that, but what address should I pick?)

I'll also need to peruse my MPE/V manual and figure
out the magic that tells Sysdump the relation between
DRT numbers and peripherals.

I've done this before but the last time was 10 years
ago. Helpful suggestions are desired.
