escaping chars in unix, tricky business.
Just try grepping for "$" or "\" :)
You might try
curlftpfs -o user=userid.acct:userpw\\\,acctpw host.domain.tld
Simply put, the shell reads \, and replaces with ,
so curl would see only the comma.
Added escaped backslash, would pass "\," into curl.
hmm, with that said, "\\," should work - the comma not escaped.
