The really shocking statistic....

24.54% of the voting age population voted for Bush.
24.56% of the voting age population voted for Gore.
1.00% of the voting age population voted for neither Bush nor Gore.
50.00% didn't care enough to vote.

------------------------------------------

Just remember....

There was once a person running for the highest elective office in his
country.
His country was and is a democracy....

He ran on truth, liberty, and justice.
He wanted the Bible to be a part of education in every class room.
He supported and upheld Christian values.

He was tough on crime, and very pro-business.

Needless to say he was elected by a large majority.
He was adored an venerated by the citizens of his country.

Under his leadership, he pulled them out of the deep
despair of a devastating economic depression.

What followed was an economic miracle.

There was virtual full employment without inflation.

Business grew, and prospered at an astounding rate.

And so he wanted the world to know that he and his
country were so dedicated to Christian values,
and to the ideals set there in, that he fought for
and won the right to place a stylized cross on
the nations flag.

And now the rest of the story.....

The stylized cross was the swastika.
And his name was Adolph Hitler.

History has taught us many lessons, and we have shown that we are poor
students.

Just my opinion....
