You might have noticed my recent posting regarding Tomcat and JDBC.
On the same installation I also tried some JSP examples (snoop and
date). They seemed to work ok. It took a while until they were done
compiling (notice the generated .java and .class files under the
$TOMCAT_HOME/work subdirectory), but they did respond properly. It
was not neccessary to copy any tools.jar files (maybe I confused it
with another servlet or JSP engine that I played with in the past);
Tomcat did pick them up via the JAVA_HOME env variable, I guess.
